Eric is a composer and multi-instrumentalist who writes in a wide variety of styles and genres, from neoclassical string quartets to hard-hitting synthesizer driven music (and everything in between). Eric has a keen ability to paint a strikingly visual portrait using sound alone, filled with rich imagery, compelling storytelling and intense emotion.  This, coupled with his ability to watch raw unscored film footage and convert what he "hears" into a score that heightens and enhances the emotion of a film has won him numerous film scoring awards.

 

Eric lives in the outskirts of Los Angeles in a forested area with his girlfriend and a flock of wild quail that he has adopted. He is fond of the local wildlife that can be seen outside his home music studio and is currently writing a musical suite consisting of eight movements inspired by the animals.
